•Meme-   an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture              - on the internet you can find a lot of memes • Virus-  a harmful or corrupting influence           - The virus was spreading all throughout the patients body •Viral-  involving an image, video, piece of information, that is circulated rapidly and widely from one              internet user to another          - The new meme was going viral all through social media •Blog-  website or web page, typically run by an individual or small group           - Her blog was creative, that the teacher gave her extra points •Wiki-  a website that allows collaborative editing of its content and structure by its users           - Wiki helps you edit the information  •URL-  the address of a World Wide Web page          - The URL is linked to my account  •Website-  a location connected to the Internet that maintains one or more pages on the World Wide                   Web          

Notes: • Connotation is the feeling of a word • Amateurs is a person that loves what they do • The use of culturally established tools is to gain insight • Literature is art  First Impression:  My first impression was that everything is true we can all have a feeling in something when we read. Like our favorite character if something happens to them we start having thoughts and are curious what will happen next.

Hawthorne communicates this theme when Young Goodman Brown thinks he goes on a walk but there’s a plot at the end that makes us think he was just dreaming. When he experiences that walk he starts realizing that everyone he thinks he knows is not really who that are.
